Money, a month at a time: you close the books, Stripe is reconciled against Stripe, and every board report is kept
Money has been rebuilt around the month. It opens on the month that needs closing and says what is left to do: check any possible duplicates, reconcile each account — Checking, Savings and Stripe — and close the books. Only a person closes a month now: nothing confirms the books by itself, and the treasurer’s report goes to the board only after the close, carrying the month’s figures as they were closed. A closed month is locked until someone reopens it, with a reason. Transactions lists a month line by line, with filters, totals and a Mark Cleared button on each line, and is where you add an entry, import a bank file and check possible duplicates. Reconcile shows every account for the month on one page, and Stripe is reconciled against Stripe’s own month, read from Stripe, with each difference named and one fix for it. Bring In From Stripe brings in Stripe’s fee on every payment, the ones made on your website too; each payout is in the books once, and the bank file ticks it off; and a payment made on your website counts in the month Stripe charged it. Reports holds the board report, its schedule, a preview and every report sent, and the year statement has a page of its own. The report email’s button opens each board member’s own copy, with no sign-in, and Board Files and the member hub keep every report sent. Bookkeeping Settings is now called Accounts. Each part has its own entry in this changelog.
