Bookkeeping: accounts, transfers, a Cleared box, and reconciling with the bank

Every Money entry is now Income, Expense or Transfer. A transfer — savings to checking, a Stripe payout to the bank — names the account it left and the one it went to, has no category (the box greys out), and counts as neither income nor expense anywhere: the statement, the chart, the board report, Board Insights and the exports. Income and expenses need a payee or payer; the description stays optional. Your accounts (checking, savings, PayPal, the Stripe balance, petty cash) live under Money → Bookkeeping Settings with an opening balance each; every workspace starts with Checking, and the Stripe import fills a Stripe account of its own. The Money page shows each account’s balance and, tapped, only its entries with a running balance. Every entry has a Cleared box — bank-file imports arrive cleared — and once a month Reconcile with the Bank takes the statement’s ending balance, shows the opening balance, the cleared deposits and withdrawals and the difference, lets you tick off what’s on the statement right there, and at $0.00 marks the month reconciled. Reconciled entries then ask before they change, the statement says “Reconciled with the bank through” the month for each account, and reconciling every bank account for the month counts as confirming the books for the scheduled report. Entries marked “Exclude (transfer)” before became transfers, with nothing lost.
