Every renewal reminder reaches everyone it is due to, and Renewal Watch counts all of them
When many memberships shared an end date — a calendar membership year — members who renew by hand could miss the 7-day reminder while members on auto-renew, who had already had their heads-up, held the reminders’ queue; now each run looks only at people a reminder is due to that day. A member on a monthly or quarterly plan is no longer asked to renew right after renewing: no reminder comes in a term’s first week. The lapse notice now waits a day after the card-declined email, as it already did after a reminder, and two overlapping runs can no longer both send it. On Renewal Watch, a declined auto-renewal whose grace has run out is listed with the memberships that ended — counted, with Mark Contacted — instead of under declined renewals, where nothing counted it; and past 300 people the page says how many more there are, while the admin home and weekly summary count everyone.
