Reconcile Stripe names what Stripe took from your bank, a dispute you entered, and a fee only you can enter
When Stripe’s balance goes below zero — a refund after the money was paid out — Stripe takes the difference from your bank. Reconcile Stripe read that as a payout that came back: Paid out was short by it, and the transfer into Stripe your bank file recorded was offered Delete It. Now it is money into Stripe, matched to that transfer, and when the books don’t have it the screen says what Stripe took and where to enter it. What Stripe takes at the end of a month that your bank has in the next is shown as coming from your bank, with nothing to enter, and the next month no longer offers to delete its transfer. A dispute you enter in the Stripe account, as the screen says to, is no longer named again beside “other spending Stripe doesn’t show”, and the dispute names Stripe’s fee on it. A fee Stripe bills on its own — Billing, Radar, Tax, a dispute fee — is no longer offered Bring In From Stripe, which never brings it in: the screen says to enter it under Bank & Processing Fees, and once you have, fees on payments the import hasn’t brought in yet are still offered Bring In. A month with many new auto-renewals is checked whole (up to 100 a read, where it was 25), and one past that says so rather than blaming your Stripe key. And when Stripe has been brought in or read the most times an hour allows (now eight imports an hour), the message says the time to try again rather than “a few minutes”.
