A closed month’s balances stay as you closed them, and a report that failed to send can be sent again

Changing an account’s opening balance or its “as of” date on Accounts, or where Stripe’s books start on Reconcile, used to go through under a closed month — and the closed month’s account balances moved with nothing to say so. Now it is refused while a closed month counts from that balance, with a link to reopen it, and refused while the account has a reconciliation standing, as Start Here already was. A closed month’s “Changed since closed” notice now also sees an account balance that moved, an account added or archived. An import or an entry that was already on its way when someone closed the month in another tab no longer lands in it, and a check recorded on a member’s record whose day falls in a month closed since isn’t added to Money (the record says so). If the board report fails partway, after it was claimed, the month now says nothing was delivered and offers Send Again, instead of reading “Sent” with no way to send it. The report no longer tells the board that an account outside the close, such as a cash box never reconciled, “wasn’t reconciled”: it shows its balance only. A reason or note with line breaks is no longer refused as too long when the box let you type it. And reconciling the last account for a month now ends with a link to close it.
