Registrants can cancel themselves
Someone who can’t make an event no longer has to email you, or simply not show up. A “Can’t make it?” button on each upcoming event in the member hub, and a personal cancel link in the confirmation, reminder, and waitlist emails, let them give the seat back until the event starts — and the next person on the waitlist is offered it at once. Someone on the waitlist can leave the line the same way. A paid registration isn’t refunded automatically: the registrant is told so and shown your refund policy, and every admin is emailed to handle it. Board meetings (which use RSVPs), partner events, speakers and facilitators, and unfinished checkouts aren’t offered it. The emailed link opens a page with a Cancel button, so an email security scanner that opens every link cancels nothing.
