Archive, delete permanently, or block someone who has left
A person with event or dues history used to be impossible to remove. Now there are three steps. Archive This Person keeps every registration, payment and form answer and takes them off People’s lists and counts, every email, the member directory, private messages and board lists; they can’t sign in, a running auto-renewal is stopped so their card is never charged again, and Restore on the new Archived tab puts everything back. Delete Permanently, on an archived record, erases the person and their history in one go — registrations, attendance, form answers and their files, forum posts and messages they sent — while payments stay on your financial statements as anonymous amounts, so past statements and locked years don’t change. Block This Person also stops both of their email addresses from joining, registering, buying, posting a job, signing in or being imported again, and the block outlives a delete. Board members can archive and restore; deleting and blocking are for the Admin Team.
