A sponsors page and logo strip
Turn on Sponsors under Settings → Look & Brand → Site Pages and add each sponsor with a logo, a link, a tier, and an optional end date. The home page shows a logo strip grouped by tier, /sponsors lists everyone with a line about them, and a sponsorship that ends leaves the site on its own — no more logos from three years ago. Links carry the attribute search engines ask for on sponsored links.
