A new workspace’s first visit is clearer, and a Wild Apricot import keeps member levels
The first time you open your Dashboard after signing up, it says “Welcome to” your organization’s name, not “Welcome Back”. A workspace with nobody under People, nothing in Money and no event finished yet gets one card saying the board dashboard fills itself in, with a link to a filled one in the demo, instead of rows of zeros. The getting-started line now has a stop for setting up member email on your domain, before the two announcements, and its total no longer changes partway through. An announcement that can’t be sent yet — because member email isn’t on your own sending domain, your subscription hasn’t started (it starts when the free trial ends), or there’s no mailing address — is marked as waiting, says why, and is never offered as the next stop. While your sending domain isn’t verified, the Email card on Integrations says emailing your list needs it, instead of “Nothing to configure.” The Events plan now ticks off the “Keep your site live after the free trial” stop. Importing a Wild Apricot export keeps each person’s membership level as a tag (so do Member level and Membership type columns from other systems), and the import preview lists any column it won’t import. A level column adds its tag to the ones a person already has here, rather than replacing them.
